has had it
s price cut down to $51,300 (original
MSRP). I e
stimate
around $8,000 to $12,000 in

I am saving up for a post-R ahman car but it is seriously tough for me to say no to the things HMG has out, coming soon , and used .
For those that didn’t get the news, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! was made Vice President of Genesis Architecture Development less than a year ago. In my opinion, he is the final piece of the puzzle and I’m waiting for his platform work since the refinement and performance potential will be at the top of the industry.

So. It’s still more than what I can go down to Willowbrook Kia and buy a GT2 for, and has a bunch of nearly useless mods that don’t do much for performance??
Hard pass.

Korean build quality with German depreciation.

Ha! I sat in this one when they first got it. Was across the street buying my wife a GTI.

So let’s see regular GTs are selling for anywhere between $3K to $8K off MSRP.
So let’s see, This one has - ”K&N CAI, Borla Exhaust, Eibach Springs, Tint, TSW 20' rims & tires, StingerHaus Complete Aero Kit....AND MORE!!”
The Borla sounds great by the way. But in any case you can shop around, get a similar Gt2 AWD for the $3-8K discounted price and spend like $1-2K on performance mods you actually want and still spend less than $51.3K I think.
Or, if these are the exact mods and color you want, I guess MSRP+free mods if you’re OK taking the depreciation hit.

Seems like the mods are split. They do include a tune, intake, and exhaust. The Eibach springs might help handling, or they could just be for appearance, I don’t know. I presume the body kit is the bulk of the cost, but I don’t think its too bad.

OK, I missed that there was a tune - it’s buried in the specs. That’s nice, as is the Borla, though I wouldn’t pay much money for a CAI.
The rest of it can be shitcanned, IMHO.

I wouldn’t pay an additional $17k for the package, but a couple of grand would be okay just for the warranty.

It’s the Stinger Haus bundle.
https://stingerhaus.com/components/
I think even getting a regular GT2 for $6,000 off (when I checked at the start of the year t he $7,500+ o ff was a lease offer) would still have you breaking even with the cost of the wheels, tires, springs, exhaust, and CAI. But it would be cheaper to go this route since the advertised lease gives you a higher residual value than purchasing and modifying the car yourself.

I love that orange Stinger and I have posted about it here as well. Thought it was a SEMA one-off, I didn’t know StingerHaus was a thing. I am not a fan of 20" wheels for daily driving despite liking the design itself, nor the aero bit. I think the Exhaust, Tune and Springs will be worth it.
Maybe this is the perfect car for someone out there who’s looking specifically for it. It was never going to sell at that original listed $68K price

wheels are too big... Maybe get a regular one with just the Borla exhaust.

I have driven both the A4/A5 and the Stinger GT. The Audi is excellent inside and technology wise , no comparison but when it comes to sporty performance it’s “good/nice” but not as good as the Stinger GT. Now, an alternative where the Audi is the clear winner is S4/S5 sportback vs. Stinger, and you don’t even have to add performance upgrades IMO . For the same price you mentioned you can get a lightly used 2018 S4 like this one.
https://www.autonation.com/cars/WAUB4BF41JA083546
I ran a quick search and there about 20 used S4s all less than 30K miles, $40-45K
So for me, Audi S4/S5 sportback >Stinger GT and I won’t even consider the A4/A5

That is still a lot of money for a car I don’t see holding its value very well.
